They
say this is the time around which Jesus was born
They
say we should celebrate this time with illustrious vacations and elaborate
gifts for loved ones
They
say our world should be decorated with glittery ornaments
Put
on a show of goodwill
While
our souls lay still
In
a pool of stagnant ills
But
it’s a season of festivities
So
let us celebrate humanity,
A
humanity that blinds its eye
When
faced with presidential sleaze
Bushes
hide with ease
While
oil hunger Blairs
Within
the ears of the weak
He
end of which they speak
Shall
always be near
What
of this is reminiscent of the day a great revolutionary was born?
Merry
Christmas none the less
May
all your wishes come to fruition
That’s
what they say should be said...
Whoever
they are.
