Dear Life,
I must begin by stating how disappointed I am by you.
Your sweet aroma now dulled to the state of stale tobacco
breath.
You continue to bless the blessed
& curse the already suffering.
You behave whorish
but unlike our beloved skanks
who will gladly hoe their non-elastic pussys
to any man
for the close to kind gesture
of two Blacks & a gwai
you reserve yours
for polygamous liars
who capitalise
on paraffin buyers
DINTSHANG?
You’ve condemned the peaceful
& placed their enemies on Babylon heighted pedestals
constructed from gold plated plastic crates
so they may drill commands
as army less sergeants
to the scrap feeders
O BATLANG?
Did I err in confessing a love unrivalled?
Do you take time spent
in your company
as a sign of weakness?
Is this your way of
avenging a broken heart?
I lit the fire to keep warm,
not to intentionally burn a whole.
I cut the tree to have a home,
not to scare your lovely mother Gaya.
I lied to protect a soul
I stole to feed hope
I fooled around to disguise a foolish confusion
& undermining you
well, that was just self-projection.
So why do you continue to misbehave?
When on countless occasions
I’ve knelt down & confessed my imperfections.
I am truly let down
left with the parking guy’s frown
& a Jesus type crown
My precious life
kindly change your ways.
Sincerely,
He Who Lives You.
